Annika Johansson is an Australian author living and writing on Bundjalung Country (Northern Rivers of NSW).

She has been writing since she could sink her teeth into a pencil, and after writing for many people, places and brands as a copywriter and Creative Director, decided it was high time she wrote her own stories to share with the world. She loves reading and writing entertaining, contemporary stories, holding a mirror up to the absurd and chaotic scenarios we call reality. She also loves the smell of rain, cheeky wildlife, terry towelling… and anything loaded with chilli. Weeding is her nemesis.

Annika writes heartfelt and humorous contemporary fiction and kids’ fiction.
